This movie is HORRIBLE. It's just plain HORRIBLE. I've been to Japan several time and never seen this sort of seedy. Never once have I seen graffiti anywhere. I'm not saying it can't exist, but some lily white westerner who teaches English during the day is unlikely to be in these areas.
The story is a bore. She basically spends the evening getting drunk and looking for a new guy to have sex with. And conveniently, everybody speaks English. The sex scenes are filmed so dark you can't even make out what's going on.
Doesn't really matter, however, because the acting is so wooden you'd be doing off.
Don't bother with this waste of 90 minutes. It's truly HORRIBLE.

We all saw that scene from true detective.
So the idea of a 50 shades clone with an exponentialy thiccer and cuter main actress was a really exciting premise for someone thats into the nudes.
Sadly this not the case.
Theres only one risque scene with sideboob ( a little bit of nip) from the back so even though we get a nice view of "behind the scenes" it could still be a body double.
so yeah, if you are here for the action you will be dissapointed.
the film is good. an interesting insight on a side of japan we dont get to see often in mainstream media. Ugh what a missed oppurtunuity not to have Daddario in 50 shades instead. I didn't really have any expectations other than shots of beautiful Japaneese aestethics which I got to some extent, even though I think that it felt a bit "touristy" and repeating at times.
As for the plot and acting I did not expect much. And except for the very first scene which I didn't like at all because it felt a bit cheesy and unnecessary seeing as you would understand what kind of girl Margaret was rather quickly by just watching the movie anyways. I hoped for more focus on the lost girl and less (but some) love hotels. One thing I liked about the many "love scenes" were that they were short and rather silent unlike some movies where there's awkward moaning for 10 minutes straight.
If you are looking for something as good as "Lost In Translation" or some block buster with explotions every other second you shouldn't watch this one. But if you want to look at some pretty cinematography with an okay story you should go for it! Especially if you like movies set in Japan. I can confidently say that I wouldn't have watched it if the movie had taken place anywhere else, but I'm glad that I did.

Something new. I remember her from the serie white collar and i loved her <3. Japan YAY. Should be called alexandra daddario and pulling her shirt up. You are a great actress Alexa 🤗. Im just going to watch this because youre in it. This is like the most awkward thing shes like 40 and hes like 20.

So i just watched we summon the darkness, pretty good. but wow what a different ending. can i ask you if they plan to do another Percy Jackson, the last one ended that way, and I am looking forward to your next film and your next 19 vlog. Wow that is so intense. That is how you make a trailer. Kudos to those guys. Looks good, I'd pay to go watch that. You're a great actress Alexandra, love you. "I really love this movie, the location of this movie is perfect, I really hate Takehiro Hira character but his performance and his acting is brilliant, Alexandra Daddario oh you will really like her in here, amazing movie.

Just two adults attracted to each other said no adult. Wait, i've watched this film like 2 days ago on Fox Movies, and the titles was Deadly Vengeance lol. I know the dude is a psychopath but I did feel bad for him, she did still cheat with his dad. Psychological movies + Alexs awesome acting = Sucess ❤.

An year of hardwork flushed down by a two minute trailer. Then we could understand why they cast daddario for this movie... I wonder if these tobacco companies or the industry pays Hollywood. So many of these films have people smoking 🚬 🤢 film looks good though. Marvista Entertainment should hire a new Trailer crew. Looking forward for the Bed Scenes since alot of things here already revealed.
